Hatha Yoga is the perfect style for beginners. It is slower than other styles, giving you plenty of time to tune in with your body and understand how different poses feel.

Basically...as much as you want!
Yoga isn't just the physical practise that we associate with it. So maybe your week of Yoga looks something like this.
Monday - Yin Session
Tuesday - Power Flow
Wednesday - Pranayama / Breathing
Thursday - Meditation
Friday - Vinyasa Class
Saturday - Going on a walk without your phone, allowing you to connect back with nature/yourself and coming back into the present
Sunday - Self Care
We want our Yoga practise to help us listen to our bodies and feel all our feelings.

Sorry to be annoying, but...'How long is a piece of string?'...Yoga is as difficult or as easy as you make. What is good to remember is that we want to let go of our ego during our yoga sessions. So if you're finding a particular pose painful but you're still attempting it, because you think you 'should' be able to do it, then you're probably practising with your ego.
Let go!

Yoga will definitely tone your muscles, improve your digestion, increase your metabolism...and so many more amazing things. But if you're only practising Yin/Restorative, more than likely you won't notice any change.

People who don't want to improve their lives...JOKING...or am I??
Yoga truly can be practise by everyone. Maybe the physical classes aren't safe for you, therefore you will focus on pranayama and meditation; you can make it work.
There's certain people that should practise with caution:
- if you're pregnant (however there are pregnancy safe classes available on your membership)
- if you're suffering from an illness, please consult with your doctor first

Yoga is literally just about breathing...and I assume you can breathe?! The word 'Yoga' means 'union of the mind and body'. Our physical (asana) Yoga practice just serves as a way to still the mind. So if you can touch your toes, amazing but there is so much more to explore!

Introducing Mindfulness practices, such as Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation, alongside our Physical Yoga reduces cortisol (stress hormone) levels in our bodies, allowing us to feel less anxious and less reactive to stressful situations.

Anything that you can move freely in. This is the amazing thing about practising at home...it's totally private! So no one will ever see your favourite thread bare leggings.
The only thing you really need is a Yoga Mat. If you do have Yoga blocks and a strap, that could be handy. However, a big book/kitchen roll and scarf will do the job.
